We’re busy!

Friday, June 26th, 2020

So we’ve had a bit of a rush on since opening, but we are still running on reduced staff due to our small workshop and social distancing. Therefore our current turn around is 4-6 weeks and we won’t be offering express service for now. Our suppliers are also running on less staff so everything is taking a little longer! Please bare with us and thank you for you patience. Also weekends have been busy with a queue, so again thank you for your patience!

We are open!

Saturday, June 13th, 2020

Setting up to open! We will open again for framing on Wednesday 17th June, 11-4. Please help us all keep safe by only 1 household at a time, and observe social distancing.

We have a screen and free use of hand sanitiser and would prefer card/contactless payment. All our surfaces and door are regularly disinfected and the card machine anti-bacterial cleaned after each use.

Our new slightly limited opening times will be Wednesday to Saturday 11-4, we also have slight delays with some suppliers so will not be able to offer express service.

Stay safe and see you all soon!

Covid opening update

Covid update

We are now open Friday and Saturdays 11am-4pm for contactless collection only.

Please observe 2m rule and only one customer at a time, we are only accepting card payment.

Thank you for your patience during these difficult times.

Thankyou

As a public facing non-essential business we are still not able to legally open and take on new work, hopefully as restrictions lift we will be able to start taking in jobs in June.

Closing for now…

Monday, March 23rd, 2020

So looking at the news and government advice, it’s very important we all stay at home and avoid contact as much as possible, so we are going to close from today. We will try to work through backlog behind closed doors, although due to our small space and protecting staff it will just be one person in the workshop so we will be behind! I might look at pick up and delivery options over the coming weeks/months to keep a trickle of work going. If you have work with us we will still try to get these done, unfortunately this may take a while whilst on lockdown. Your work is safe with us and we will be in touch on completion. Stay in, stay safe and see you on the other side!

We are still open! Our suppliers have told us deliveries are still okay so at the moment business as usual. Ironically we already wear masks and gloves and wash our hands a lot due to the nature of our work, we’re upping our cleaning regime in the gallery to be on the safe side. We are a small close team so will monitor our health and self isolate if we feel there’s an issue. We ask all our customers to be diligent and obviously don’t come in if you or a family member are unwell. If your work is ready for collection please don’t rush to collect if you’d rather not, it’s safe here. We will monitor the situation and keep up to date posts if anything changes. Thanks and stay safe!

Valentines print Launch

Monday, February 11th, 2019

Valentine print launch! New set of one off mini dyptich prints by Lucy McLauchlan,  exhibition opening on Feb 14th at studio 4 gallery.

Limited Set of Mono-Print Dyptichs:

30 x 40cm mounted, signed and numbered

Individual prints 12 x 17cm, stamped and dated on the reverse

4 colour, hand-pulled screen print

on acid free 270gsm paper.

These prints are hand-pulled, allowing Lucy to spontaneously position each layer and colour choice to produce an intuitively driven collection reflecting her mural painting process.

This technical experimentation combines multiple layers utilising mat inks against gloss inks, with fluorescent reds and metallic coppers creating a more textural set of mono-prints.
